The guy suggested "not spending a fortune" and people suggest Borla ATAK and Corsa. LOL. As mentioned.. Cheap and easy: remove muffler. resonator, third cat depending on how loud you want to be. Still not happy.. Long tubes, X pipe and whatever mufflers you want.

The the speed products are the cheapest good parts. And way cheaper the corsa. Depending on cost cheaper then a shop going a good job welding in and cutting out stock parts.

Just take everything from the engine back off. Then ride with the windows down screamin just a good ole boy!

People suggest "mufflers" because who knows what state hes in and the exhaust laws there.

Good luck to the op and your loud a$$ exhuast needs.

Hey, just recently got a 4 in lift installed on my 16 high country 5.3. I want for it to be as loud as possible while still sounding great. Ideas? I’ve looked around at mufflers and can’t decide what I want. note that I don’t want to spend a fortune, don’t have the money I’m only 17

I have a Trail Boss and I installed an electronic cutout before the muffler and i absolutely love it.  No drone and you can make it loud or stock quiet with the push of a button.  When it is open, it's very deep and throaty.  Sounds like a modified corvette. See my post on this.  Instructions are halfway down the page and there are a few YouTube videos.

I knew that after reading the first paragraph.

Like others have said just remove the muffler and put a piece of pipe in its place.

You want loud there you go.

I used to have a split exhaust. I was lucky to have a very good exhaust guy in my town. I had a y put in my exhaust. One side was stock for trips the other side either run with it or exit in front of rear tire. It had a flange with a cap. It was either open exhaust or a small glass pack. I even toyed with super trapp, adjustable mufflers.
