There is an auto high beam function if your vehicle is equipped. The instructions from the manual really don’t tell you how to activate it. Pull the signal level toward you twice like your flashing someone, then push forward once like your going to place high beams on, then put back in normal position. And A will show up on your headlight indicator.

Uhhh it's not that complicated really.  There is a toggle button at the end of the left stalk to enable/disable the feature.  As long as the low-beams are in auto-on mode and the left stalk is in neutral position (not forward or back), then the auto-highs will work.

I didnt get it on my 19 RST and I honestly dont mind it. As much as it would be nice for the cameras I don't like the possibility of maybe relying on it too much etc etc.

Oops. Sorry about that. Sometimes I scan too fast and easy to not know what forum I’m in. Guess I shouldn’t assume. Lol

I've been looking at getting into a new truck for a few months. I'm leaning toward the AT4 for the 6.2 (LTZ and HC are also on the list, but I THINK I like the Sierra better).

For all this time, lane-keep assist, the 3D surround cameras, digital cluster, HUD, etc have been on my must have list. But those packages are adding quite a lot of cash to the price.

Do you guys think they're worth it? To be honest, I've tried LKA on a few of the test drives I've taken, and I either didn't trust it enough or it just flat didn't work for me. That's sort of what made me start thinking about it today. I do love the cameras, but honestly, how often would I use all of those things? The aerial view is nice, but do I care that much? The HUD seemed to be a distraction, but I'm sure I'd get used to it. Seems it'd be especially useful with navigation.

Thanks!

Yes. I love mine and honestly I bought because of this plus many other reasons.

I had a lot of these features coming my '16 Yukon XL Denali so I knew what I wanted.

The one thing that I wanted that was missing was the 360 Surround camera view. It is amazing especially with this big truck.

I didn't think that I would like the HUD at first but now it is weird not having on other vehicles. (first world problems) It does not mess with my vision and my eyes don't have to travel that far to see my speed.

I don't use the LKA and I really don't like it.  I changed the setting to the beep instead of the seat vibration but I leave it off and never turn it on. I might try it again on this truck to see if I change my mind.

I agree with several of the posters about getting it. Once you do, you will not regret it and it will be hard to ever go back.

My recommendation: Yes get it.

Coming from a 2001 silverado and not wanting these features and buying a 2020 AT$ with everything (By accident I swear) Im now kind of fond of them..

LKA isint perfect and if youre not seeing it activate you arent keeping your hands off fo the wheel long enough.

Mine will bounce back/forth between the lines a couple times and then tell my dumb ass to quit playing and take the wheel.?

ACC it the tits, thats all I have on that.

So yeah, for someone who never had these features and didnt want them initially, Im hooked.
