Auto heat / cool seats based on air temp

My wife's Acadia Denali has a neat feature where the vehicle "knows" the temp and automatically turns the seat (and heated steering wheel) on upon start up, then turns the setting down as time passes - it's good enough that we never really touch the buttons as it does it for us.  My AT4 HD does not seem to have this feature and I sure miss it.  Do the Denali HDs have it?  Am I just missing turning it on somewhere?

It can be turned on in vehicle settings for remote start.

Once vehicle is being operated by you, auto climate does not turn on seat cooler or wheel heater.

But yes both can be set to come on for cooling or heating depending on temperature.

Yes, you can have them come on with remote start, but as soon as you get in and “start” the truck you have to turn them back on manually. The Acadia you do not have to do this (whether you remote start or not) as they come on, then even adjust to a lower setting after some time passes, all automatically.

It's mentioned in the 2020 sierra manual, as a feature separate from the remote start based feature.

The section that mentions it gives reference to the 'personalization' setup pages...but of course 'auto heated/ventilated' seats doesn't seem to be mentioned in that section.

Anybody found it on their truck?

Yeah, that's dumb!  LOL  Not sure why it can't be "smart" like the Acadia and automatically turn the seats and wheel on and even adjust the setting down as you drive.
