Kjsmall1 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 So I searched a bunch for pictures of this setup, and it was easier to do it myself 2018 GMC Sierra SLT Z71 4x4 Crew Cab Premium Plus in Stone Metallic Blue. Bilstein 5100s on 3rd setting. 5100s on the rear too. BFGoodrich KO2 275/60R20
Lsgun1 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Looks good. Hows the road noise with those tires?
VdellaV Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 After having had that same combo on my truck before I can assure you: Digresive Shocks with 10-Ply Tires make for a very bad ride when empty. That will be tough on your ball joints too and fasteners will get loosened over time, keep an eye on that. Bad things about 5100s is that they're not really an off road shock. Do some serious trail running and the fronts will blow taking the shock mounts with them. The good thing about them are the rears, they give superb damping control, specially when loading a ton of cargo
2018GMC Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I went from the 20” chrome clad wheels above (wheel face is plastic!) to 17” wheel with 285/70/17 BFG ko2 load range e. At 45 psi they ride better than the 20” minimal side wall p rated tires the truck came with. 20” load range e will definitely be stiffer than the stock p rated tire at same size.
