best brand of remote start

i am wanting to add remote start to my truck 6.0 gas and wanted to ask recommendations on the best brand to go with as on my old truck i added an aftermarket alarm and after 6 mos of use it went bad and took out the bcm at the tune of 1k and i don't want that replay again TIA

i did a search on that and it looks like the transmitter by itself unless google is wrong which is possible

also my truck is a base model reg cab W/T

Those GM part numbers are for my 2017 Sierra 2500 base.
Base W/T trucks can have OEM remote start too.
The search results just show the key fob but it should be the entire kit but of course they expect the dealer will be installing and don't bother to show any other parts.
I haven't had it installed but those are the parts I've been quoted for mine.

I have a 2500hd and I bought  84424016 and installed it myself then had the dealer program it. I did this two weeks ago. Like it alot.

They quoted me $180 but it ended up being $130.

It also enables your sectuary system . You will have a red light flash on your dash when its locked.

Any system that you don't have to re-activate every 12 minutes!  What a crock.  I have mine set for 45 minutes.  I like a thoroughly defrosted truck
