Black OEM Exhaust Tip

Does anyone have the black chrome OEM exhaust tip on their trucks? I'm thinking about putting one on my black 2018 Redline.. but I can't find any pictures of them installed. I was also looking at the polished chrome version, but I'm not quite sure how it will look on my blacked out truck..

If you find one let me know where you got it.  I have a Victory Red Rally and would love to have the black tip to go with the rest of the scheme.

After a bit of searching I could only find one and it was on ebay. Be warned it’s pricey, about $60 more than the chrome ones are going for. I’m guessing they’re charging a premium for it because they’re pretty rare. Here you go..

As long as we’re on this topic and no one seems to have the black tip..

 

What are peoples thoughts on the oem chrome tips in general? At first I was apprehensive about the chrome since most of my truck is black, but after some thought it might not look too bad considering my Redline came from the factory with the chrome grill that comes on the High Country’s and it also has the chrome bottom lip.
 

Hmmm chrome or no chrome? What do most of you guys have/prefer?

I have a 18 redline black I did magnaflow dual exhaust with black pipes and tips. My opinion black is def the way to go.

If you check Summit Racing's website, I'm pretty sure they have Black chrome tips.

I sand blasted and powder coated the tip black that came with my MBRP exhaust.

They have black tips, but from what I can tell not the OEM with the bowtie logo..

 

Note - the OEM tip I linked earlier might not fit our generation trucks, it says it fits "2019/20". Though I'm not sure how they figure the round tip would fit through the square slots in the T1's? Also, it says the inlet for the black tip is 3". I thought the T1's with the 5.3 had 2.75" tips like K2's? Could be wrong though..

The part number is the correct part number though for the 14-18 year trucks.  I used it to check the large number of GM OEM Parts online stores and almost all of them had the tip in the $153-$165 range.  The cheapest was at:  https://www.getoemparts.com/oem-parts/gm-extension-kit-84521819
