Belated welcome!  Did you find a new truck?  If so, picture please!  If not, I will add that all GM trucks in this age range are great trucks.  Condition and price should be 99% of your concern.  Keep your eye open for that low mileage cream puff!

The GMT9's were twice as reliable as the K2 trucks. The only downside is that most of them will be worn out far more than a K2. My 2013 6.0L 2500 looks bad, paint is flaking, dents, broken interior pieces etc, 180,000 miles and never left one of my guys on the side of the road. Havent changed a single part on it aside from one set of brakes. Mechanically unbeatable. My K2's have all been to the dealer at least 5 times, that old GMT9, never.
