2019 Silverado ESC(POSSIBLE Reason)

So I could be totally off, but like so many others, I too just started experiencing the same problems with my ESC system in my 2019 Silverado Trail Boss LT w/ 7k miles. My truck is heading back to the dealership this morning for the 2nd time in one week after the ESC problem.

 

Long story short, in both instances the ESC only happened AFTER starting my truck with the Chevrolet app as opposed to the key FOB. Now I’m no computer programmer but there seems to be a connection with the App and the problems arising. 
 

Am I way off base???

No there might be a connection but others have experienced the failure with operating their vehicles in the general fashion while others have experienced these failures after the so called recalls. Some report like yourself that the failure happens after the remote start. I have all the updates and use both types of remote start without incident. So it appears to be a hit and miss situation and I do believe the people with these trucks know more about this problem then GM and the dealerships.

I've heard others report the same, after remote start with app they will get ESC and other errors, and a restart usually clears the errors, but they don't get the errors with a FOB remote start.

Maybe GM should put us the payroll to figure it out ourselves!
