Depending on your ring gear size it takes a different amount of fluid.  You can find the information on the AMSOIL look-up guide.

Notes: (1) Use synthetic axle lubricant P/N 88900401 which replaces previously recommended synthetic lubricant P/N 12378261 meeting GM Specification 9986115.
Capacities: 8.60 RG Rear 4.2 pints

Capacities: 9.50 RG Rear 5.5 pints

So as you can see it goes from 4.2 pints to 5.9 pints.  So if you got 3qts it would be enough to cover which ever one you have.

I'm crippled and did my own front diff and transfer case on the trail boss, had dealer do full trans fluid exchange with BG machine and rear diff. The squeeze packs are great. With a clean fuel hose mod I can get about anywhere except the trans fill plug.

On Nick he ought to be in the Amsoil Hall of Fame because deals straight and gives the customer the benefit of the doubt in all my dealings with him over the years.

Finally from an old school R&D  oil analysis and formulating point of view its hard to beat Amsoil driveline lubes today.  I am not totally sure but the gear lubes are so crystal clear and using very little traditional additives that they must be advanced oil soluble PAG base oils.  Visually and studying their SDS and PI sheets.

After changing out all the driveline lubes and on marginally decent Mobil1 5w30 in engine I am seeing about a 4.4% increase in MPG so far.  This in mountain off road driving, on road TBD since I am staying put lately except for VA visits.
