All Weather Mats

Hello,

I typically purchase the Husky Liners for my trucks as I like the material and the coverage they provide. For my soon to be arriving 2020, I was thinking about the GMC all weather mats. Has anybody had a chance to compare the two products? Which one generally provides more coverage?

Also, I thought I saw/read that you had to trim the rear storage box to get the all weather mats to work. Is this true? Anyone have any pictures of this?

The OEM mats that came with my AT4 cover essentially 100% of the carpeted interior of my truck--even under the accelerator pedal! I have only the small, carpeted default storage box under the rear seat, and my mats cover everything.

It is the mats that get trimmed so they go up to the rear storage bin rather than under it.

I’ve had weather techs on my 2011, Huskey xact on my 2015 and now have the GM all weather mats in my 2020.

I preferred the Huskey. They all have good coverage, but the depth of the Huskey is what I liked about them. These new GM all weather mats are almost smooth.

I had the Xact model, not the weatherbeaters, and they were a softer rubber/deeper treads and so far are my preference. My truck came with the GMs already installed or I would have bought a new set.
