GM Bed Side-Mounted Bed Storage Box Kit

Has any one purchased this or know anything more about it?  Does anyone have access to install instructions from a dealer?  Would like to know how it works with covers.  PN:  84799308

nope but it looks like a pretty good idea. i wonder if any of the tie downs get obstructed with this box? would love to clear out everything from under my back seat and store in the bed.

Personally, it’s a waste. You can have a tool box which is much easier to get to and allows you to carry a lot more. These require you to jump up into the bed and forget it if you’ve got a full bed whereas a tool box is easier to get to. Dodge has their side box built right into their body but it’s a Dodge lol. Just can’t beat a Tool chest or Tool box from Weather Guard

Imagine actually using the bed to haul equipment, how would you actually be able to get in there to excess the tool boxes??
