You have zero reading comprehension, or memory, since I have said NUMEROUS times that I dumped that Silverado years ago with 134k miles on it and bought a 1st gen Cummins-powered 1993 Ram W250 with a 5-speed. I spent more time working on the Silverado than I did driving it ... so I replaced it with something that's now 33 model years old that can actually get the job done without breaking!
Sure, I can't speed like I could with the Silverado, but now I can enjoy my weekends rather than spending the entire 2 days underneath a modern pile of dog ****.
Yeah, the Marquis is no good ... but it has taken my wife and myself back and forth to work nearly 70 miles PER DAY for TWENTY-THREE YEARS. Still running the ORIGINAL in-tank electric fuel pump after 40 years and over 312K miles! Your definition of "quality" is skewed ...
I'm starting to realize you might just be mentally disabled. Sorry for picking on you in that case.

Huh. That's a really interesting comment. I ran into a guy at home depot that pulled in with a Silverado with the same wheels I was looking to put on the new truck. It was a newer truck, so I asked what year it was. Late teens IIRC. But he said he put spacers on the front to try and correct that. I don't think I've ever read that, or noticed it on any of my Silverados.
The spacers were not cheap. not putting them on the back would have saved some money. To me it was, if I'm going to move the front wheels out a little, I need to do the same for the back. The idea is to be a little more sporty with the 18" 285 Toyo directionals. I'm learning to deal with several downgrades compared to my '14 LT. No steering wheel stereo volume control (sucks), no uplevel DIC. (sucks even more). It runs well, but sounds like crap.
I have the same issue with 2026 Silverado LTZ also rattle above 60 dealer heard the noise offered no help said they could not find anything master tech road with me and heard the noise and rattle no fix contacted GM started a case now getting no response
I got the time to change the fluids in the transfer case and front differential, and I intended to replace the front cover. This is a PML cover, and the noteworthy things about it are all hardware is there, the fill plug level is the same height (but on the side), and it holds a pint more per the instructions. There's no good place to take a pic, so that's the best I could do.
