Those with Amp PowerSteps- Quick question

So I just ordered my AMP Powersteps and the AMP Research 76404-01A PowerStep Plug N' Play Pass Thru Harness to free up the OBD2 port on my truck. Just wondering how everybody had theirs set up in their trucks. Pictures would be a great help as well. Thanks.

I would buy a splitter for 10 bucks instead of their pass through harness if you want to free up you OBD port.  I am not running a tuner with my truck but I did with my F150 ecoboost so I used a splitter.  I don't plug anything into the port enough to worry about the step harness plugging into it.

I did a splitter as well, my factory OBD port is left untouched and you wouldn't even know anything was changed unless you looked up behind the dash.

I bought the AMP one when I did it a few years ago.  I just unscrewed the factory bracket and mounted one side of the AMP one in its place, made the connections, and zip-tied the extra wires up under the dash.  Nothing looks any different and the dealership still plugs into the OBD port at the same location as factory.

That's exactly what I ended up doing. I didnt know if the pass through cable would bolt right up in the stock location or anything, but after I had it in my possession it all made sense and looks OEM.
