LS LQ4 in a GMT400 - anyone do it?

I have a 2002 LQ4/4L80E 2WD driveline and was thinking about installing it in a 2WD 1995 3500 cab/chassis.  Anyone do this swap? Interested in motor and tranny mounting issues/parts required.

Me personally, no but this is a very popular swap.

Dirty Dingo makes swap mounts and so do several other companies.

Once the engine is in you'll be able to see if the stock transmission cross member will work or if you need to modify it to work. Measure for a driveshaft.

You will have to upgrade the fuel system to handle the fuel pressure required for the LS. You must be able to provide 58psi all the time. In 1995 those were still TBI trucks that ran lower fuel pressure from what I remember so that needs addressing.

You'll need the complete wiring harness for the LS engine along with the computer, which I assume you have. A tuner will be required to disable the security system is the LS computer.

Thanks...I should have been more specific - I understand the fuel, wiring, PCM needs (done a few EFI swaps).  Was looking for someone that actually dropped a LQ4/4L80E into a GMT400 to fill me in on motor mounts, tranny mount, and misc fitments issues like oil pan, exhaust or any misc problems..
