O2 Sensors

Hey Guys,

I have an 06 Sierra 5.3 T-Code. Have any of you had issues running aftermarket O2 sensors? I know that the 5.3l are kind of picky when it comes to things like spark plugs, plug wires, and knock sensors. So I was wondering if 02 sensors fall into that category also? GM wants $117ea for the upstream and $119ea for the downstream. I can get all 4 for about $60 on Amazon.

I would buy ACDelco branded ones from a major retailer, such as rockauto.  amazon/ebay, you are more likely to get knockoffs or factory rejects.  If the part is that much cheaper, they have to skimp on the part somewhere...

New denso/delco sensor from Napa should be like $40-50 each.

You will be complete garbage if you are able to buy all 4 sensors for $60 on amazon.

I'd replace the upstreams before I did the downstreams if you have no codes and are just doing them based on mileage/wear. The rear sensors only job is to monitor the cat, the front o2 sensors monitor the fueling and are far more important.

Either Denso or ACDelco as CamGTP said.  Fairly affordable from rockauto.com.
