I was looking at getting either the Borla Exhaust or the GM Performance exhaust for 2020 Silverado TB with the 6.2

I have heard audio clips of the GM exhaust on youtube and it seems to give the sound that I am looking for (more noise when I want it but not obnoxious) and a claimed 13 HP.  For the Borla exhaust which model is the one that GM sells (touring, S or atak)?  I have emailed borla support but haven't gotten a reply yet.  Also does anyone know the claimed performance numbers for the borla exhaust?

I was also planning on adding the CAI from GM as well.

Can't help you on actual numbers but I went with a Borla ATAK on my 6.2 and saw gas mileage go up and it sounds pretty throaty when you get on it. After a month I added the S&B CAI but didn't really notice much with it. You can get a far better price than the GM products and DIY install on both was super easy!

I use to work for GM.  My friends in accessories say that Borla makes GM performance exhausts.  I went with the Borla Touring because I drive expressway a lot and did not want any drone in the higher gears.  I think it sounds great but would like it a bit louder.  My wife on the other hand hates anything that I like.  I also chose to exit thru the current tips and now that I have seen a few with the quad tips I like them better.  I also installed GM’s CAI and took it back to the dealer for the flash.  I noticed better throttle response but I have no idea what the real increase is but I am happy with the way it sounds.  I agree with Monkey, get the Borla and do it yourself, you will save about $500.00 to $700.00 depending on where you buy it.  Borla makes great systems.  I am not convinced that the GM CAI is the best on the market but my dealer stated that any other brand will void the engine warrantee.  You will also laugh at GM’s version of the harmonic damper in the exhaust.  The spring loaded weighted flappers are a joke in the OEM exhaust.  Restrictive and a failure waiting to happen.  Attached is a pic of the flappers, one in front of you muffler and on in the rear.
