Base Model: Any Console Options yet?

Just purchased a base 2500 duramax 4wd.

 

Hard to believe a truck made in 2020 wouldn’t have a center console.  I know it’s a base model but I was still shocked to say the least, but didn’t want to spend $75k since a lot of options on the at4 / Denali were things I just don’t need.  My question is for those of us that don’t have the console, is our only option to hope to find a Denali console on eBay (if it will even fit)?

nah you can install any center console.....i believe even the 1500s fit.....

i have an LT and it has center storage and reason i got it.....i also had 19 RST 1500 and the inside is exactly the same on these trucks

 

you can do full floor center console as well but not cheap....you just have to locate one somewhere for either.....lot of guys have already done this mod to their customs and TB on 1500s

Thanks.  Looks like my best bet on eBay right now would be the console my 2018 Silverado had.

So I ordered the console from the 18’s with a jumpseat and 3 cup holders.  Mounting looks like it will be fairly easy.  Does anyone know how I could make the USB ports in that console hot by tapping the one in the dash?

Maybe tap the cigarette lighter?
