remember that Silverado SS concept, at SEMA a few years bak, the red one with 480 HP? I just read a a chevy site that it had 3.42 gears. A bit odd for a super-truck.

Seems like a disappointment to me, but maybe they're pulling punches, or something - not letting the true specs out?  Wishful thinking probably.  

 

Although, the Escalade/EXT drivetrain is not slouch, by any means, just not what I'd call a Lightning killer.  I am sure the Fo** guys are having fun with this now!!

Is it supercharged, or at least AWD?

Does it even get that cool SS hood, grille, and bumper, or does it get that standard ugly 2003 front clip?

yes, ford will rule the world! all chevy will go down in 2003, down to kia level.  then huyndai will buy chevy and there will be "2004 Kia Silverado"!

sorry paco. GM bought Daewoo last year, and Daewoo owns either (and brought them out of debt) Kia or Hyundai, or both.

Although they are not considered a GM division, like Chevy.

Forgot how much they paid, I read about it in Automobile(or was it MT?), haven't heard anything since.

 

Can't wait to see what happens under GM ownership, should be interesting.
