Hey guys, I was just wanting to see if any of you guys, who tow, have upgraded their rear shocks. If so what did you go with and how do you like them? It looks like Bilstein is offering the 5100 for the rear and I have heard good things of them in the past. Thanks in advance.

I installed rear bilstein 5100 on my truck 2 weekends ago. I will be towing a 3300lb boat (light) this weekend and let you know if its any good.

I recently installed 5100's on the rear of my AT4. I tow a 4,500+ lb Ranger bass boat. The Rancho's would "pogo" on me real bad. The 5100's cured that on the rear. Now I just need to do the fronts.

Either of you guys have part #'s? They seem to be pretty simple to install, did you do it yourself?

I wend to bilstein website and found the proper one for my particular truck.

For my truck;

Fronts: 24-293297

Rears without Res: 24-293471

Rears with Res: 25-293487

Ok, So i towed and now my fronts feel like ****** (original) the rear was tight and felt great when i was almost fully loaded (5 guys, full bed, 3500 lb boat).

Man... this is exactly why I'm waiting to upgrade to Bilsteins from my Ranchos until I can do all 4. I figured that if I do the easy rears, it will really make the front bouncing feel even worse.
