I changed my door handles to Yukon door handles with the color insert. I color matched the inserts to iridium metallic. I also color matched side mirror caps to Iridium metallic. I plan on replacing running boards with Amp Research boards that will hide when doors are not open. I feel like since I made these changes, Something looks off? What do you guys think, now that I color matched handles and side mirrors, Does it look off to you guys? Any suggestions to make everything flow better? Maybe it will look better once I replace running boards and there isn't another chrome accent? I also replaced the red GMC logo up front with the factory black GMC logo. The front looks good IMO. But the back Logo looks off with the other Red taillights, cargo light, and All Terrain logo. Should I color match GMC logo? Should I put the Original Red Logo on tailgate? The photo attached with the front of Vehicle logo was before I color matched handles and Side mirrors.

I think that's the right amount of chrome my man, especially in Iridium. I'd say lose the chrome on the side boards and it'd be perfect [emoji108] I also think my truck is way too black (midnight edition) and needs some chrome

I don’t like chrome myself. Unless it’s on an old car.
so I say peel it all off.
I got everything off my Silverado and peeled the chrome off the front bumper and running boards and then sprayed them with bed liner spray.

I think the front is pretty spot on, as you said, and once you install those Amp Research boards the side will look perfect! A little bit of chrome accenting is really appealing (especially for Iridium), and I think you have the perfect balance of color-match/chrome. I think the only thing that really looked 'off' in the first picture was in fact those running boards. It just adds an extra layering with the door moldings that is a tad bit awkward; just needs a little bit of balance.

The rear is a little tricky, I can see what you mean with the tail lights and cargo lights. I had this exact issue when I swapped my red emblems for black ones because I felt I lost that connection and something seemed off. As time went on, it kind of grew on me though. Personally, I know I 100% prefer the black emblems on the rear of your truck, and the more I look at it I think that the little All Terrain badge balances everything out by providing just enough hint of red.

Hopefully this helps, I think your truck looks great! ?

Thank you guys for all the replies. I think my goal moving forward is to first swap running boards for amp research boards that will hide when doors closed. Still undecided on rear logo, as it just feels "off" to me with the red lights, since swapping to black logo. Still unsure how to make things blend better in rear. Almost thinking of putting factory red GMC logo back in rear and keep the black logo in grill, just seems off. Maybe color match it?

I also am thinking of adding one of these stickers for z71 4x4. I just have always liked that badge. Not sure which color would blend better, as I do have a red accent all terrain sticker.

Thoughts?

That's a nice looking truck you've got there. Personally I wouldn't change a thing!

Question -- do the window deflectors help cut down wind noise on the highway?

I'm looking at Plasti-Dipping what little chrome my ME has with either "Night Strike Grey," "Gull Grey," or black.  My only chrome is the "Z71" on the grill and front doors, and the tailgate badging.

I was thinking bronze or gold wrap for the red z71 and I haven't really known what to do with the chrome silverado on the back yet. I have the illuminatex bowtie and I kinda want to remove it and wrap my factory black one. Not sure, also want a chain link grille and mezzula offroad skid for the front

I know you can buy all black Z71 logos on Amazon. I'd do that if you want to further black out your M.E.

I think these trucks bedsides were forgotten when the chrome was applied. Chrome all over the front and cab but nothing on the bedsides. Looks a little off to me. I like where you're going with your truck. I would lose the chrome advertisement for the dealership around the license plate.

I haven't noticed, it's mainly used for the wind when smoking. I honestly have just always loved the look of them so I put them on all my vehicles

Yes, that was old photo. That has been gone. Thanks for the reply!
