I have an 18 Silverado with an Undercover Ridgelander tonneau cover. The led light strip crapped out and I need a replacement idea. I hunt and it’s helpful to have light back there for changing in the early morning or late nights. I want something LED- any good ideas?

Thanks

I've been looking at something like this (link below).  Not specifically designed for truck beds, but they're 12V, waterproof, and are mounted in aluminium channel.

I bought two 4' LED strips from Amazon and wired them into the reverse lights.  They provide an amazing amount of light are are easy to turn on at night by clicking the unlock button on the remote.  Much easier than reaching in and hitting the switch on the dash.

How about free?  Just pick up a few of the free blue harbor freight magnetic lights and stick them in the front of the bed.  They light up most of it with just one on each side pointing towards the front fo the truck.

Did you just splice off the reverse lights to power the lights or just to trigger a relay?

I agree. On my 2020 I spliced in an
Amazon set but, if you’re budget allows it saves a lotta bs to have the wiring harness. However, the Amazon kit held up great for 90k miles or so until I traded the 2016 in on my 2020.
