Missing Nut ?

I was just changing the oil and noticed what appears to be a missing nut on the front differential.  Can anyone confirm?

That looks the same as another thread, but with a much better pic.  Given that there aren't that many threads sticking out, and that they are tapered at the end, most likely the casting is threaded and there is no missing nut.

Yea in the mounting illustration that bolt has no nut on the end of it.  It goes through the driver diff to frame mount bracket and threads into the case.

Thanks!!!  I really appreciate the replies. Love the truck, 2017 LT with the 6.0.   Not crazy about the 245 width tires.  Want to get something wider for the stock 17” rims but I don’t want to compromise towing.

If you don't want anything too crazy, 265/70R17E (same diameter as stock but wider and its also a stock size) or you can head up to a 275/70R17E for more width and a fuller look and be E load with the same 121 load index as the stock two sizes.  If you want a 33" tire, 285/70R17E.

I would like to go wider but don’t want to push it with a rim that is only 7.5” wide.  Not a lot

of choices at 275 70, not sure how a 285 would handle towing.

Then stick with a 265.

Talk to your tire guys or a reputable shop if they would put the wider on your rim.
wider on smaller rim shouldn't be an issue. But I'm no professional tire changer but even throwing smaller tires on a wide rim is doable but risky but it's a big thing in parts of the car scene

I believe that it is bolted thru from the other side.
