Found the side of my 2021 High Country to plain. I ordered the chrome moulding for a 2014 / 2018 Silverado from GM and installed on my High Country. I’m very pleased with the look and feel it finishes the truck. The 4 pieces are a touch short but most will never notice. Start the install as per the factory with the correct gap at the back of the front doors and the front of the rear doors and it will work out. Once I get my chrome 22” wheels on in the spring I’m sure it will even look better than with my winter wheels.

Chevrolet should have this as part of the High Country trim level.

It fits your truck and what you like on your truck is all that matters, but the chrome look is no longer the popular "thing" anymore in the industry.  Currently blackout, night packages, etc. are the look and imo even just mono color looks of any color are far more popular.  I'm form the opposite end as you, I have a denali and I got rid of almost every piece of chrome on it.  Can't stand it.  But that is why I love vehicles, you make it your own, and your happy thats what matters.  They could definitely offer it as an exterior option, but I wouldn't think having it as standard would be a wise idea currently.

GM could atleast offer factory colored door moulding, like they did for the wife's 2015 Yukon.

I'm with the OP, I too would like the molding, but want it wider, like 1 1/4- 1 1/2". So it lines up with the Denali word moulding. Still debating. Kinda thinking the bottom rockers that is 5" wide. Like I have on the big blue truck.

As you stated "make it your own" I like a little chrome as it is easier to keep than the blacked out look. My 1992 is more your style as it has little chome. I have owned this truck since 1992 and in 1998 it became a project with my son. Today the truck is being updated with a new wheel and tire package LS 6.2 and a few other upgrades.

You can get body color to your Denali here:

I contacted them earlier to see if they had shorter moulding for the front door. I don't want to remove the Denali badging. And their trim runs on that body line.

Thanks for the heads-up though.

Joined the body side molding club.  Ordered the parts for 2014-2018 Sierra's from GM Accessories.
