Jrodpic Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 I don’t have the high clearance steps but I just installed some of the sports steps on my Trail Boss. The spacing of the brackets on the high clearance is different than the spacing on the sport step. My guess is that the 2020 doesn’t have the pre threaded mounts in the correct spots in the frame to install the high clearance step. They probably added the new mounts when they introduced the new high clearance steps.

I can tell by the picture below that someone posted of the high clearance. The spacing between the three brackets on the sport step is pretty much the same, but the high clearance has two close together and the third pretty far away. There were extra holes that I didn’t use on my 22 when I installed the sport step. Makes sense why. The others are set up for the high clearance.
zkowasz Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Well ordered the Silverado version of the high clearance steps, they bolted right on to a 2020 no issue. I really like these steps, just enough foot room, nonslip, and don’t hinder ground clearance 2
Bikerjon Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 I have these high clearance steps on my 21 Trail Boss and love them. People are always asking where I got them. 1
2015Sierrabuild Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 Is there a way to make these fit a 2015 Sierra crew cab shirt bed Al Terrain?

The cabs are 5 inches longer on the new trucks so the mounts aren't the same spacing, and the rockers are a very different design.
