Mustang missy Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 My friend has a 2014 Silverado and said the drivers window won’t roll up or down, the dash shows roll window up and down and the stereo does not turn off when vehicle is off and the drivers door open and closed. I seen a few things I’ll look at tomorrow but just wondering if there is a common issue yall know about or the less likely possibility (since these issues started at the same time) that it’s 2 separate issues. Thanks in advance!
Mustang missy Posted April 23, 2021 Author Posted April 23, 2021 Perfect thank you! Checking out the truck today.
Ksc1010 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Was there ever a solution to the issue with the radio not turning off after exiting the vehicle and power windows not working? The issue seemed to have started at the same time. My truck has been in the shop 3 weeks and they cannot seem to find the issue.

Binder49 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 It sounds like broken wires in the drivers side door jamb inside the rubber boot. I have had to repair two trucks with this problem. Some solder and heat shrink will take care of the problem. 1
