ADD just came out with a diesel version of their bumper but I can't remember if it is winch capable or not.

The biggest issue I'm seeing is that none of the aftermarket bumpers fit diesel models. I'm guessing there's additional cooling unit or something in that space where the winch would go.

Hey I know litebrite personally haha

That's awesome! They put out great content on youtube. Very entertaining. Next time you see them, let them know to keep up the great work, from a random guy on the GM forums, haha.

I'm a subscriber to Lite Brite Studios.  Love what Kevin and Brittany produce.  I followed the Gladiator build and saw the RTT setup.  I'll look into that.  Can't wait to see what they do with the Bronco.

I'm originally from Utah, and would've loved to go on that adventure.  Currently in California, so it's not a stretch.  There is a video on YouTube of a guy that made his own hidden winch system with the OE front bumper on a T1xx.  Iirc, it was done on a High Country.  I'm considering starting with the Rough Country hidden winch setup for the 14-18 trucks, and modifying it to work.  I have a neighbor with a 2018 Sierra that'll let me look at his truck.  We'll see what happen.  Really looking hard at the tonneau covers and RTTs right now to find the right setup.

I've seen that video and its very simplistic, clean, and well done.  I also found where an individual used a hidden winch mount from the prior generation silverado/sierra and was able to mount it to his T1 with minimal alterations, though he didn't explain what they were.

Great setups on here guys, I love the full-size overlanding mentality!

I'm hoping to get some time off to fabricate up a hidden winch plate myself, but my work schedule is crazy right now and I don't know when I'll be able to weld one up.  After that is fabricating a quick-mount system for temporary awnings, preferably a 270.

So far, I've done the following:

Eibach front springs, and front and rear shocks

Installed VORR bed panels

Du-Ha under seat storage

X-Bull Traction Boards (used more times than I care to admit so believe the hype, an excellent purchase)

Upgraded Recovery Gear:  Treaty Oak kinetic rope, ARB Tow Strap, Factor 55 hitch, Rhino Shackles

Installed a Softopper,

Downsized from 20" Bridgestones to 18" Duratrac's for more sidewall

Future Modes:

As mentioned above, a hidden winch system and quick-mount for an awning system.

I know it goes against the grain of RTTs that are so popular nowadays, but I prefer to camp on the ground as well as using my truck bed for dirt bikes and work.  However, I am definitely jealous of the amenities a RTT provides, DELUXE!!!

No, they don't interfere with the lights.

Thanks.  These are likely next after I get the bed cover situation sorted out.

Typically the CAC (Charge Air Cooler) is in that space. I had the same issue with my Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. No winch mount would fit and most bumpers didn't either.

The Retrax XR bed cover I ordered arrived today.  Got it installed so I could mock up where I need to modify it so it works with my sportbar.  Tonight concluded with removing the bed cover and disassembling it so I can start cutting first thing in the morning.

Cutting is now done.  Time for welding, then off to paint.

Sorry the pics are garbage.  I didn't realize the lens was dirty when I took the pics.

Since its an overlanding topic, I did a little driving and wound up camping inside of Sam Houston National Forest with some buddies this past friday evening.  I thought I was pretty careful but I still managed to give "Hank" a few truck length pin-stripes.  It was worth it though, I needed the time and distance from society.  :)

Thanks.  First time doing something like this, and was very afraid that I'd end up throwing $1,500 in the garbage.  I'm glad it's working out well.  I'm going to call a few welders today.  Hoping to get it in their hands tomorrow.
