Will this level/tire/wheel combo fit without rubbing?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, not a Silverado owner, but my buddy just bought a '21 RST Crewcab 4x4.  He likes how I set up my trucks and asked me to help him figure out a simple level set up.  He just wants to give the truck a little stance but not destroy the ride as he has decent commute.  He wanted to run 33's.

Thinking of having him run a 1.5" Motofab level.

For tires some Falken Wildpeak AT3W in  285/55/20

For wheels a set of the Raceline 950B 20x9 with 0 offset

Yeah, it'll work, but that tire size isn't a 33.  I recommend going with a 275/60 on that 20" wheel if you want a true 33.

285/55/20 = 32.34"

275/60/20 = 32.99"

Personally, I'm not a fan of the lift kit you're recommending.  The issues are going to be with the cv axles and upper control arms.  I recommend the Trail Boss 2" lift kit through GM Accessories.  It is a lot more expensive, but it has a GM-backed warranty.  I do not think it affects the vehicle ride, with the exception of the shocks.  The stocks can always be replaced, and many people with Trail Bosses seem to prefer Bilstein shocks.
