I have a 2015 GMC  Sierra - the "no sound" problem started a couple of years ago, but it's gotten worse and worse to the point that it's about every other time I start the truck. It's not just the radio, there is no seatbelt warning sound, no turn signal sound - nothing. I'm convinced the problem is a computer problem. I also installed a remote battery disconnect to address the problem that intermittently the truck thinks it is overheated, when it's not. The problem is not the sensor on the engine, the fix is to disconnect the battery and wait 30 seconds to reset the computer.  I've fixed low alternator voltage by resetting the computer. It's sad to see that GM can't get a fix in 8 year models.

2015 was a completely different electrical system than the 1500's trucks that are 22.5 and newer ('24 and newer for HD's)

I was having the no audio issue pretty regularly once my 30 day on star data subscription expired. I suspected something going on during startup with communication timing out etc due to lack of internet. I did the following:

1) deleted my gmail and MyChevrolet accounts on the truck to avoid unnecessary comm attempts at startup.
2) disconnected my home WiFi.
3) I have been letting the  radio go through its quirky initialization process before putting the truck in gear. It sometimes comes on quickly but other times it takes 20-30 sec.
I have not had an issue now in about a month. I guess I should divide and conquer to pinpoint but I’m content now since it’s behaving lol

Any updates or fixes from GM? New ‘24 LTZ is doing this on a 3 week old truck.

im curious if I should expect both seat vibrations and beeps with park assist. I currently get one beep if I’m lucky. Thinking there’s an issue there too

With car in park press and hold the end call button for about 15 seconds until your info screen restarts then let off the and call button. Your information screen will restart and this should work. Works for our 2023 GMC Sierra

Hello, I did some research online and found there seems to be an issue with android auto or Apple carplay. If you turn off the connection to that in the vehicle everything seems to be working again. I don't know if everyone is the same issue but it has worked for me for over 2 months now. I hope they find if fix for it soon because I miss my android auto.

everything works with the infotainment screen .. except incoming voice sounds. Can’t hear the other person talking via Bluetooth or when on CarPlay .. can’t hear voice sounds from navigation / Siri ..

I'm late to this party but I wanted to add my GMC Denali Sierra to this list. I have experienced the no sound issue with my new $86,000 truck on several occasions (happens about every six engine starts). My truck is presently living at my dealership where I have taken it in for this problem three previous times. Every time they have told me they have repaired the no sound issue and it is working fine. The no sound issue has always returned. In fact the last time that I picked it up at the dealership after the issues was repaired, I started the truck to leave and there was no sound. Also I constantly get the dashboard "Service Driver Assist" message about every five times I start the engine. This issue has also brought my truck into the dealership on four occasions. The last time it was in for repair the service department told me the factory was working on a repair for this issue but presently they could not repair it. My truck has 3100 miles and I'll be starting the Lemon Law process very soon.
