So i just heard back from the dealer about my single popping on the passenger side (other post here about that issue

I would like to lift the front of the truck safely so that both wheels are off the ground so that the steering can be turned easily to watch the suspension parts move and see if there is anything else going on. One issue they called out was that the ABS sensor/wiring is what is causing my park assist and stabilatrak issues because of the lift/ how it was run on the control arm. I have 1 floor jack and tons of jack stands, but mostly looking for where under the front end is it safe to support it and not be concerned while im under there. It will only be turned on for a few seconds to watch the components move from left to right and have the wheels off.

OR should i just torque everything down and test if its resolved?

I lift each side from under the rear of the front doors.  Jack stand goes up toward the front of the same doors where the frame is beefed up before it narrows inward.

Watch out if your frame has the anti-rust waxy coating.  Can be a bit slick.

Yea i just want to safely lift it high enough to get off the ground, pull the tire off and turn on the truck and turn the steering freely to check the suspension as well as re-torque everything without the truck weight.

Man one piece of advice, try the spring thing. It’s like 30 bucks and my symptoms were the same as yours. I took the entire front end apart and back together, thought no way the sound was in back. I went crazy trying to figure out the case.

the issue with the leaf spring in rear was transferring all the way to my feet. Sounded like the sound was right in front.

if it doesn’t solve the issue, at least it was a cheap and quick try.

what spring fix are you referring to? Is it the leaf spring clamps? I never installed any after the lift and i did do the "add a leaf" then. But worth a try.. the odd thing is that after the dealership said they wouldnt work on it, the noise has gone away, so im still going to check all torque and look into the rear spring clamps..(if thats what you refer to)

The product called spring things. It’s a flat rubber insert that goes between two leaf springs on rear. They make contact otherwise and caused noise. Mine sounded like popping in front end when turning at slow speeds. Never heard it going fast or straight. Really weird but fixed probkem
