You need more than just a caliper, look at that brake rotor through the dust shield.

The brake rotor fins are visible, those rotors were trash a long time ago. Time to replace everything. Rotors, pads, calipers. No sense fixing a caliper when replacements are easier and not very expensive.

Yeah I'm well aware of the of the rotor and pads I'm just wanted to know if the caliper is fixable because I'm in Canada and to order a full kit is over 700 buck with the shipping which is more than I paid for the truck

How is a caliper or even a front brake job over $700 even in Canada? A front caliper from Rockauto USD $40 to $60 for a brand new caliper.

For the hell of it I priced the rest out. This is using all AC Delco OEM parts from Rockauto. For two front rotors, brake pads and one new caliper is was $220 USD, add another $40 for one more caliper to match the other side.

I could have used lesser parts and made it atleast $50-70 cheaper.

Are you sure you are pricing out the correct parts here? Can't you walk into a Napa Auto Parts store and just buy a two front rotors, pads and calipers for under $400-500 CAD??

Buying a seal kit for a 20+ year old rusty caliper isn't worth it.

If I couldn't do that, I would never want to live someplace like that.

Source stuff locally then, no need to pay for that crazy amount on shipping.
