Transmission questions

I have an 06 chevy silverado 2 wheel drive 4.3 liter engine transmission is going out an I found another with 619CJDY22711584 on the identification tag my truck has a 4l60e transmission is the 619CJDY22711584 the same type of transmission

You need to know exactly what you have before you search for a tranny.  Not all 4l60e's are going to be the exact same, especially for your year.  Some 05 and 06's I believe came with an input speed sensor if yours has that you will need one with it as well.  A 4x4 4l60e is different as well.  It can be made to work but would require some effort.  In my opinion you should remove yours and see what you have so you can compare it to what you are buying.  Keep in mind you buy it from someone who removed it themselves you have no idea what you are getting.  Going to a tranny shop in this case and either 1) getting yours rebuilt, or 2) trading yours in for a rebuilt one exactly like you have is the best way to go.

Same tag, but do you know for a fact what year, engine drive the one you found came out off?   If the same then you are good to go.
