Rear end gears The dealers telling me that 2022 2500 HD only comes with a 373 rear end not a 410 is this true or false false

Last time I read up on this lower gear ratio was addressed in transmission gearing. Slowing down drive shaft speed.

2022 HD

 

    GT4    Rear axle, 3.73 ratio
1 -  Requires (L8T) 6.6L V8 gas engine.     

     GU6    Rear axle, 3.42 ratio
1 -  Included and only available with (L5P) Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 engine.

Are you asking about the diesel or gasoline engine options?  Makes a difference!

Yes, unfortunately 4.10 gears are no longer available in the new 2500HD's. The gasser gets 3.73 and the diesel gets 3.42.
