As per Transient, you need a new dealer. Maybe try his dealer. They made his family hauler speakers louder in the rear.

Thank you gentlemen for the insight. I haven't brought the truck to my dealer yet. Was just seeing if this was a known problem, was normal or I was doing something wrong. I'm going to have them take a look at it while it's in for the purple drl so it's logged

That's funny.  Looks like we have an insult comedian in the house.  Again, scroll up.  You've taken things I said out of context.  The heat in the kitchen must be getting to you if you're this delusional.  Remember, in a transient.  I don't have a specific dealer I frequent.  I bought my truck in the east coast, but I'm now on the west coast.  That's what a transient does.

Please let us know what they tell you.  It'll be interesting to see if they come up with something, or if there's even a TSB for this issue.

There's no TSB for this. What's bad is Bose doesn't share info or specs. Some have gotten good results changing the rear speakers to Kenwood Exelon or Pioneer speakers.  I've been in many T1's with Bose and most don't notice this until it's pointed out and you fade from front to rear and compare. Not sure if it's the ohm's of the rears, the way it's connected or looped, a design flaw or designed this way.

You're not the OP.  I responded to you.  This is where you went wrong?  Don't accuse me of responding to the OP with bad info when I actually responded to your bad info.  It's a very linear conversation, yet you somehow managed to run circles.

You're not the OP.  I responded to you.  This is where you went wrong?  Don't accuse me of responding to the OP with bad info when I actually responded to your bad info.  It's a very linear conversation, yet you somehow managed to run circles.

I stated that because the dealer, any dealer or GM will say it's normal even though it's not. Even though all trucks do it or it's a bad design, saying it's normal is so they won't have to change out millions of Bose systems with same results.  When they say it's normal, it's there way of saying we have no fix or can't fix it. 

 

I.E. majority of the K2's had a vibration.  Thousands of posts.  I kept up with it and read every post. Some got fixes with balancing, changing driveshaft, differentials or a minor improvement but most didn't get fixed.  Why? Because service dept.'s, and GM engineers couldn't figure an exact remedy.  Some even got buy backs. It was costing GM millions so guess what?  "voila".  GM deemed this normal.  Now when you brought a shaking truck in it was now considered "normal". GM's way of not having to fork out anymore money because of defective parts etc. That's why I said the dealer will say it's normal even though there's a problem.  There's been many problems with trucks the past few years where GM didn't have a fix and those problems became it's normal to service dept.'s as per GM bulletins.

What gave you the impression that I cared why you said it?  All I ever said was go to a different dealer if they say what you said.  The rest of your post points out exactly what I've been saying almost the entire thread.  You can't keep a single thing in context.  I don't need, nor care, for your explanation.  Your theory is unsupported by evidence.  I didn't ask, nor have I sought, your opinion on why dealerships and GM do what they do.  That info is irrelevant to this thread.

Well bud you don't have to ask or seek my opinion.  I stated my opinion.  That's the beauty a forum.  It's for likes, dislikes and opinions and disagreements. I stated my opinion just like you did.  If you don't like or agree with something, it's very easy, move on to another thread.  I never brought mine in for this issue as I've kept up with this from a day one post in late 2018.  If you don't care what I say quit responding to my posts and move on. It's funny you don't like going round and round.  

 

My theory is unsupported?  It's supported by all other T1 Bose trucks. Quit being in denial and go try it yourself like I suggested.  Or have you already and too afraid to comeback and say, "you know, mine is the same now that it's been brought to my attention" instead of saying "mine is fine and I haven't gotten complaints in my family hauler".  The info is relevant as an example for my rebuttal to your asinine statement on telling me maybe I should find another dealer because the dealer will say it's normal.  Yes, if my screen keeps going black and the dealer says it's normal then by all means I would go to another dealer.  That's where not understanding that these trucks do this.  That's just the nature of the beast. Finding another dealer won't remedy the situation. So, tell every T1 Bose owner to find another dealer because the rear audio is low and all trucks on the lot do the same thing .  On this issue, I don't care what dealer you bring it to; the end result will be the same.  That's my point whether you like it, believe it, wanna hear it or don't wanna hear it.  It is what it is.  I won't respond back unless you do.  I'm good with it brother.

There's nothing any service dept. can do to fix it. It's in the design. Read the many posts and topics on this issue. It is what it is.

I'll be following and working on fixing my 2020 at4 I just bought. I noticed the deficit right away. Is there also a subwoofer under the back seat? If so I cant hear it either.

63 year old with 2020 LT and non-Bose system. Have used various lead spewing devices with limited hearing protection at times so ....

 

I have also noticed the rear speakers in my crew cab have very little output. Maybe the truck is designed that way but I would prefer more sound coming from the back seat. The fader seems fairly useless as most of the sound comes from up front no matter how far I adjust the fader to the rear..

 

Granted my butt is normally planted in the drivers seat but I still would like to be able hear the rear speakers.
