Onstar Password Request

I recently cancelled Onstar, and now, once a trip, I get a request to put in the Onstar password.  I choose the option, "Don't remind me again", and still, every trip, get this message.  Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Enter the password.  That's how you get rid of it.  It's not for onstar.  It's for mychevrolet/mygmc.

Even though I enter my password, it comes back after some time. 60 days? 30 days? It's every so often, that's all I know.

Mine does the same, you can hit "Do not ask again" and it will still come back, I just enter the password and move on but I agree, there should be a fix for this.

Mine wanted the password shortly after one of the ota (over the air) updates for the 'infotainment' system.

 

Kinda / sorta like when a. phone or computer does a full updated.
