Will the same size older wheels fit a 2020 Sierra?

Hey guys, first time poster. Just got a new 2020 Sierra base X31 for work. I imagine I'll be around here for awhile now.

I know this topic looks like its already being done to death, but I haven't see anything specific on this question - will the same size wheels from an older model fit? My truck has the 17" steel wheels with good tires, so I am looking at the older GMC 17's (05+) for a swap. This truck is the base model X31, so I wouldn't think it has oversized brakes or anything. Apologize if this has been answered, all I have mostly seen is people going from bigger wheels to smaller or aftermarket.

To answer your question, no. The spoke angle and the offset changed in 2019 with the new 4 piston calipers. Only a very few of the larger wheels have been known to fit.

No because of the new and much wider 4 piston calipers. Offsets are similar to the 14-18 trucks, but the shaping of the back of the spokes is cut much different to clear the calipers.

Old wheels won't fit without spacers. Typically 1/2 inch to 1 inch minimum.
