Differential Cover Upgrades Front and Rear

Does anyone have any suggestions on an upgrade for a front and rear differential cover along with how to tell which cover fits correctly? I’m looking for both front and rear covers for a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country Crew Cab Short Bed with an 8 speed tranny if any of that matters.

I don't have any recommendations for a product solution but I would suggest searching for Gail Banks engineering and their review on aftermarket differential covers.

I second that. Gail Banks did a series on Youtube regarding diff covers and actually showed the engineering of how it works and what doesnt work. 95% of the covers on the market were less efficient than a stock cover. They were desined to look good, but actually were bad for the vehicle. Gail was great as always and you actually see his sensors and clear cover showing what the fluid is doing. It was an eye opener. His covers are engineered and do improve efficiency and cooling of the fluid.

They do but they are ugly.

As if the cover is the only thing under a truck that’s “ugly”.

 

Anything to separate people from their money I guess.

After seeing how bad some other cover beat the fluid and heat up and literally did not work correctly, I would stay stock or Banks. If an aftermarket company can't show me engineering and performance like what Banks did then its going backwards, not for me. Never gave it the deep think like Banks did, great info and testing.

Give them a call. I bet its coming. They are also coming out with a programmer for the 3.0 soon, but it just has not been approved yet. But its on the website and its coming.
