So I'm wondering how much it will cost to add a sunroof a lift that won't kill my warranty and also an exhaust that won't kill my warranty... I can remember asking the finance guy about it when I got it back in April 2020... his answer was any mod would kill my factory and extended lds warranty.. is this true? Or what builds would be covered.

It is all dependent on the dealer you use. Some will let you get away with the mods listed and honor a warranty. It also depends on the type/amount of warranty work the dealership/manufacturer is willing to cover.

GM has an exhaust, this should at least be covered. It may be covered if the dealerships installs, might not be if you DIY.

Add the 2" GM lift to your truck and your warranty stays intact regardless of what a dealer tries to tell you.  Add the GM exhaust and again, your warranty stays intact regardless of what a dealer tries to tell you.  Basically, adding almost any factory offered aftermarket components designed and sold by GM will not void your warranty.

Sounds like you need an LT Trail Boss with a sunroof.  Adding a roof ain't cheap, possibility for leaks are endless with an aftermarket roof.

There are only two kinds of sunroofs.  Those that leak, and those that are going to leak.

With GM, you apply that same logic to the sliding rear window :)
