So TFLTruck answered my longing question this morning. The new ZR2 does come with Borla Exhaust. Sounds very good. I still don't know if it's worth $70K+

Enjoy the video

hey better then nothing right ? You and I have pleaded with them to give us more from their 6.2 and make this more unique. Wish the tires were also a little bigger.

For sure!! More power for that price, but also I noticed that the Trailboss is also going to have the black cowl hood as well. So only thing making this ZR2 look any different is the cut-outs on the bumpers....that to me is a huge mistake.  The ZR2 should have the unique hood

Hey better than the AT4X tho right? You can barely even tell it from a regular AT4 and at an even higher cost.

I agree with you as well!  What is GM thinking not putting that ZR2 bumper on the AT4X. There is no difference that I have seen in the pictures between the standard AT4 and the "X".  Very disappointing.

It's still a $14,000 truck... dollars are worth a lot less. 😉

The GMAuthority website says a Borla can be ordered for the ZR2, for dealer install, rather than a standard or option from factory.

https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/04/chevy-silverado-zr2-to-be-available-with-borla-performance-exhaust/

From link:

According to GM Authority sources, customers will be able to order a Borla performance exhaust system for the Chevy Silverado ZR2 through dealerships. The new exhaust system is tagged with part number 19433388 and priced at $1,799, plus install.

Critically, the Chevy Silverado ZR2 Borla performance exhaust system includes exhaust tips that remain tucked-up underneath the rear bumper, just like the standard ZR2 exhaust treatment.

Interesting so TFL might have messed up, but when I built a truck on GMs website I clicked on the performance exhaust and it didn’t add it to total price of truck.  Like it was already included??

It's still an $80.00 exhaust... dollars are worth a lot less. 😂

Just went through the catalog.  The Borla is an accessory option.  Can't be LPO'd, its over the counter.  19433388 for ZR2 and AT4X.

Would have been a great time to update the 6.2 numbers.  I know I know I’m beating a dead horse

So if I wanna build a ZR2 (like I did) would I have to just pay out of pocket for the exhaust?  Like a did with my Corsa?  If so I might as well go with the Corsa Exhaust again. Or I could use my GM rewards points to put down on this exhaust, correct?

Me too!! LOL, It kinda makes me think Gm has a new set of small block V8's coming?? Or getting rid of them all together and going smaller turbo motors. Which doesn't make sense to me because Ford's and Toyotas turbo V6's dont get any better REAL WORLD MPGs than GMs V8's

Hell my stepdads ecojunk barely cracked 18...averaged 17 the entire 5 years he owned it, and prior to that his 2004 5.4L triton got the same, so he never saw a benefit in the turbo motor. Every article I have read on the new Tundra is basically stating same thing, Not making its EPA numbers. Here it was 3 mpgs lower!  That's HUGE!!

Correct.  Would be from the dealer parts counter/chevy accessories website.  You can use the My Rewards as well yes.  This system is high tipped like the stock one for clearance as well, so a Corsa system would just use the OE style normal clearance tips.

I think I'd see how I like the factory ZR2 exhaust before popping another +/- $2000.

Otoh with the Multimatic DSSV suspension goodies, skid plates etc etc it's already an expensive truck.
