Opinion on Roof Top Running Lights

Howdy everyone, I recently moved back to a truck and got a sweet deal on a 2020 GMC Elevation package in Carbon Black. I have always kind of liked the look of the roof top running lights you typically see on the HD models. Any thoughts on getting them installed on a 1/2 ton? If anyone had any pictures of a 1500 with the running lights I would love to see them.

I'd love to do the same but not brave enough to drop the headliner and start drilling holes. There is a thread around here of someone who did it though.

You could always look into these. Solar powered wireless cab lights with 2 remotes. Solar/Battery LED Wireless Cab Running Lights - Cab Over America

Wow those look sweet. And if you don't like them you can always haul them off the roof. I am going to check them out later when I get home from work. I really think this might be exactly what I'm looking for.  Thanks for that, there will be something extra in your check this week....

Those are junk.

They don't last more than an hour or two.

Check the reviews. Not the fake ones they have on their website.

Surprised no one has mentioned the AVS AeroCab lights. They have textured plastic and now black, silver and white painted options. I picked up the textured plastic piece without lights stupid cheap on ebay. I found an LED light strip for Tundras that is about the right length that has the 5 sections like the AVS piece and am considering putting that on.

They look pretty sweet both day and night pics. I may just splurge on them. I live in Alberta and we get lots of sunny days per year so I don't see an issue with recharging.
