Hey everyone, I designed these a while back for my truck and when I finally got around to posting them on here I noticed that a similar set of these have already been made by another member here. Mine are a little different, so if you're interested in a set, shoot me a message.

My ducts are designed to prevent the A/C and heat from blowing under the carpet and also physically spread the stock vent open to maximize air flow. They are printed in flexible polyurethane so that they can be stretched over the duct for a tight fit that wont budge, and they are also virtually indestructible, as you'll see in the youtube video.

i know some K9 handlers would like these to hook up to to run cold AC back into the camper shell of the truck bed area.  only would work for rear sliding window glass optioned trucks , nice to see American ingenuity

My kids would love these. Anyway to have them pointed up at 45 deg angle or so?

I can definitely do that, only thing is, depending on how far back the front seats are set, the duct would need to be extended by quite a bit (4-8" longer) to prevent the added 45 angle from aiming the air at the underside of the seat.

Could you extend 5 inches and and angle up for passengers in the rear seats? I would definitely be interested in purchasing.  Pricing?  Very slick.

I have a design in mind. I will work on that and post a pic of the new design soon. While I’m at it, is the website info and drivers/passenger writing on the ducts a bother or helpful?

Not bothersome to me - I didn't see it previously!

Hey Cody, I finally had time to review the design revisions you had expressed interest in.

Unfortunately, adding 5" to the ducts and a tip with a 45 on it would increase the print time and material costs to the point where they would probably be priced out of the market for a lot of folks. A ballpark on price would be in the $125-150USD plus shipping for a set, whereas the current ones I'm offering are $40USD plus shipping.

If you or anyone else is still interested I will gladly design and produce a set and post photos for review.

Just seeing this response.  Yes, at that cost it would be a little too high for me.  Perhaps there are others out there that will find this and be interested as well. Thanks for looking into this.

wow that price is very high for 3d printed, can't you just stamp these out of some sheet metal and sell them for $25 each?

The cost of dies to stamp these wouldn't be cheap. Then a machine to do it. Good idea but not practical.

you’re more than welcome to produce these in stamped steel or injection molded plastic if you see an opportunity there.

I agree that the price is high, and there might be some adjustments that I can make to the design to bring my cost down. I have very little time to devote to design work at the moment so I haven’t had much of a chance to see where the design can be optimized. Either way it’s unlikely that the price could be brought under 100USD while using 3d printing with urethane as the material, which I believe is important.

Anything is possible if the demand was enormous. But selling a few here and there doesn’t warrant massive investment into up front production costs. Obviously, if the price of the items was drastically lower, the demand would probably be a lot higher, but still not likely to be high enough to mass produce these.

only money opportunities in aftermarket parts like these would be selling them at local auto parts store like CAN Tire , autozone, etc... but you will need to get it made in the land of the Yellow Man, hey but its fun to see what new stuff you can come up with. R&D is always fun , tinker away

    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
    • If you use compressed air regularly, one problem you cannot ignore is moisture. Water in the air line can cause rust, unstable air pressure, poor tool performance, and even damage to sensitive equipment. That is why I highly recommend using a desiccant air dryer. A desiccant air dryer is designed to remove moisture from compressed air by using drying materials such as activated alumina or molecular sieve. Compared with basic water separators, it can achieve much lower dew points, making it especially useful for applications that require dry and stable air. For workshops, painting systems, pneumatic tools, CNC machines, laser cutting equipment, and industrial production lines, a desiccant air dryer can make a big difference. It helps protect equipment, improve air quality, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the service life of the whole compressed air system. Another advantage is reliability. Many desiccant air dryers are built for continuous operation and can maintain stable drying performance even in demanding environments. For users who care about long-term efficiency and equipment protection, this is a smart investment. When choosing a desiccant air dryer, I suggest paying attention to air flow capacity, working pressure, dew point performance, regeneration method, and maintenance requirements. A good model should match your compressor system and actual air consumption. Overall, if moisture is causing problems in your compressed air system, a desiccant air dryer is definitely worth considering. It is practical, efficient, and highly useful for anyone who needs clean, dry, and reliable compressed air.

    • I went another direction after losing a trailer tire, thanks to not being able to access air at ANY of the 5 gas stations and garages I stopped at prior, with a Toyota Tacoma onboard, 50 miles from the Canadian border. They were either out of order, access was blocked, or the hose a few feet too short and I couldn't get any closer without risking damage to someone's property.   https://postimg.cc/gallery/X5QJ55w
