Lane change alert

I'm looking at buy a 2020 1500 LT Silverado Z truck, 4 X 4 ; it has everything but a wet bar in it, but no lane change alert or blind spot alert ,

can it be added ?  Vin # 1GCRYDED6LZ379797 , I do not care for the after market stuff.

You could probably add it, but I have never personally seen a kit to do it or heard of one.

 

It would involve quite a bit to add as well, between the bumper radar sensors and mirrors...and making them work together.....it wouldn't be cheap or easy I don't imagine.

 

I can see why you'd want it though, it is a handy feature!

I doubt you can add it and make it work. Maybe White Media could but that's expensive. 

I'd say find a truck that has it. That's way easier. 

Someone else to ask is Pgamboa on this forum.

THANK YOU,  You are right, I called the Chevy Parts today and they said the computer on the truck is not set up to just add

that, so my hunt is on for another truck, loosing my vision in my right eye ,and that blind spot thing really helps.

No things like that can't be added after the fact. If it could you would have to buy all of the parts and have someone program the computer for it to work. In other words $$$ . Then you gotta ask if it's worth it or not.
