Chrome mirror caps on a High Country

Can you show me a painted set that comes in Dark Ash Metallic/Titanium Rush Metallic? This is a new color for 22 refresh. From 19-22ltd you could get color matched caps. The high country trim (and maybe other trims??) came from the factory with color matched caps. For 22 refresh the high country comes with chrome caps. It just doesn’t seem like painted will be an option for my color. If I had a color that has been around a while, sure.

Thanks! How is the chrome holding up on yours?

 

I may have to grab a set the end of next month when my commission check hits. LOL

Don't wait too long lol.  They have been out for a long time and just got a few sets in.

Ahh I guess that makes sense. I didnt realize that they were not available for the 22 refresh and that it was a new color you were looking for. I took the statement as they were just simply not there at all anymore. My bad.

I picked up the caps today.

Looks like a major pain in the ass to install though. 

Anyone done this?

When I had a new black one installed under warranty, I watched the gentlemen and he had to pop out the mirror first.  To get to the clips on the cap and it came off. Thought the mirror was going to snap when he was wrenching/tugging it off

 

@dieselfan1  make sure to post pics. Interested in seeing it with chrome. I might do this when I get my snowflake wheels to match.

It’s really not in the least bit hard. Takes a few minutes is all.  Lots of good YouTube videos on the subject.

Before and after.

I like after better but they were they a ****** to install. Took me around 3 hours total.

I struggled with getting the puddle lights in place before snapping them in place.

 

BTW the cones are door ding 

guards.

Keeps the dumbos away a few feet

I hear you. I try to park out further out but it always seems some jack leg will still come park next to me.

Along with dashcams (front and rear with parking mode) in both trucks, the security camera also helps cover my ass.

Lot of hit and runs here thanks to idiots and the two nearby bars.
