PSA on why we change our cabin filters

Recommended Posts

So, recently traded my 2011 1500 in on a newer 2018 2500HD.  Maintenance history unknown but supposedly a GM at a big dealer owned it and used it.  Drove it home 3 hrs and noticed on the way home that the AC wasn’t blowing super hard on max fan and recirc but didn’t think a lot about it. So now I’m buying stuff to do maintenance in it, diff fluids, new ATF, etc because who knows when they were changed last so I also did cabin filter.  Today at lunch it arrived so I go to take old one out and put new one in.  This is the aftermath and probably why the AC wasn’t blowing super hard ()……sigh….
