My 2022 Sierra 3.0 liter Elevation was broken into in a fairly busy parking lot. The first thing they did was unplug the horn, which is ridiculously easy. Then they punched the driver door lock and were in with no alarm. Just a heads up. Im planning to put some sort of cage around the horn and wire connector just to make it a LITTLE less convenient for a thief to disable the horn/alarm.

The best solution would be to program the truck so that the louvers close when the truck is shut off. Anyone at @GMCustomerService listening?

Why not just add a second horn somewhere under the hood then tap into the horn wire that way if the horn was unplugged the second horn will still blow.

All you have to do is reach into the front grill and unplug.

They did the same to mine 2021 Sierra, ended up recovering, but can’t figure out the extend of the damages,

Could you guide me where is the horn harness?

they ended up removing the telematics module, that disables onstar

the dealer has it on back order

also, they cut a wiring on the back by the license plate.

just saw that the other day.

still figuring out that

Funny how GM will design the truck so to pull the spark plugs you need to disassemble the entire front clip of the truck but of course for something like this that never needs replacing that it is simple enough for a thief to easily access it and disable it.

Did you ever figure out how the horn was disabled? Mine was stolen and recovered. The horn was unplugged, I plugged back in and still no horn.

also my rear park assist isn’t working and guessing they cut a wire back there like they did on yours. What wire was cut on yours behind the plate?

I wonder if the self-powered horn from the 'advanced security package' on the SUV's can be installed in a pickup?
