I noticed, a few days ago, when I filled up that the filler hose behind the fuel door was a bit loose.
Quite frankly, it may have been that way since I bought the truck but suddenly had a revelation.
Anyway, here is the fix if you find this issue with your fuel filler hose behind the fuel door.
And, yes, I said "tankless" at the end ... oops! 😬

Just a FYI, I put a spray paint can cover over the Capless fuel filler to keep water & dirt from going into the gas tank.

Mine isn't capless, but I replaced that missing plastic retaining rivet within a week of purchasing my truck; after the first time fueling it up.

 

No need to order GM parts and wait for them to arrive; your FLAPs carries them.
