Mine was delivered in 3 months and part of that was waiting 2 weeks for my dealer to get an allocation.
I realize youre a long way from Flint but they are building over 1000 trucks per day across 3 shifts and have been since March. There are dealers around here with 24's on the lots. You might try a dealer in another state and do a fly and drive to pick one up. Although demand has been high and there are a number of constraints they arent quite as rare as your being told. The fact that your dealer doesnt have allocation and doesnt know if or when they will get any might say something about them.

Yeah they are around. My local dealer has 3 2500’s and 1 3500 available I just looked.

Ordered 7/14

Just got my TPW of 8/28

figured as much when we ended up ordering instead of getting an incoming unit, but will likely miss the rest of our camping season by the time it’s in, at least based on the delivery times? On the plus side maybe Costco will do it’s annual $1K rebate starting Oct 1 and the deal will get even sweeter 😂

Same around here. Quite a few dealers in my area and they all have 1-2 2500 and 3500 on lots. Not many, but they are out there and in all trim levels. And a lot incoming unspoken for waiting on delivery from Canada…

We got hard rain about 12 miles South of there but no hail. I have heard reports of hail damage North of Saginaw though. I am sure if theres some damage we will hear about it and the local painless dent guys will be hopping.

Looks like Davison got hit pretty bad. They are about 8 miles East of the plant. I spoke with someone who was at the plant right after the storm went through and he didnt mention any issues. Not to say that there werent, just that no one seemed concerned.

From what the local weather guessers said afterwards (the only time their forecasts are accurate) the reports were widely scattered all the way down towards Detroit.

I live less than 10 miles from the plant and it was pretty disappointing. Some decent rain and wind but no hail and not as much lightning and thunder as we were expecting

Friday July 7th

You can always ask the dealer what event code you are in. If you are event code 1100 GM has not officially accepted the order. I too ordered from Rivard, end of May, order was accepted mid June. My sales guy Brien said I am at event code 3300(scheduled for production) on June 29th. I am still waiting for a target production week for mine to be built. I ordered a 24 2500 durmax at4 in onyx Black.

Is there something hinky going on with the build/order system?

I worked up a 'build sheet' for what we wanted; previously it listed what MSRP should be for that build with those options.  Now it just says "see dealer for pricing" 🙄

What's even more 'curious' is that the dealer I've been talking to says that *they* couldn't nail down a price - and they went through the build three times, manually, after printing out what I had sent them.

I believe the price has always been tentative until the truck is built and invoiced to the dealer.

I believe once they place the order the order price is locked in. Here is the sheet my dealer sent me when I first placed the order back in May.  Locked me in almost 9k under retail.

I know if there is an option in your build that is on constraint it'll give that "see dealer for pricing" message.

Interesting.  Too bad they don't tell you what that might be right off the bat.

So... I emailed the build sheet to another (larger volume) dealer, and the salesperson there believed the constraint was being a double-cab.  So I pulled up another build I had for a crew-cab version... still no price.  Went back to the first screen, yup, there's a price.  Changed it to an LT... still have a price.  Dually, yup.  Add the gooseneck/5th wheel package, plow/camper package and gooseneck completion package... wait a minute, the price disappeared.  Hmmm...

Went back removing packages until the price came back.  Apparently the sticking point is the factory gooseneck/5th wheel package - either that, or the spray-in bedliner that is part of it. Tried the same process on the double-cab build... same thing.  Which kind of sucks... but that's stuff I can get added later locally if it means getting the truck in a timely fashion.

On the bottom of my order sheet from GM globalconnect it says

"North American order workbench is intended solely for business use by GM dealers. Pricing shown is for illustration purposes only. Refer to GMPricing.com for official GM price schedules, GM pricing is subject to change by GM at anytime, without notice"

Although the document I received is formatted differently than the one you posted it contains all the same information.

I believe it’s the gooseneck/fifth wheel prep that’s on constraint at the moment. The spray in bed liner is not, at least as of earlier this week.

Like you said, that’s something a hitch shop can do for you later, if it means getting the truck.

If the fifth wheel pkg is truly on constraint I would wait for the truck. The difference between the OEM fifth wheel pkg and an aftermarket setup is pretty big. On the OEM the holes are all cut before paint and bedliner. I also think the 2 crossmembers that are used for the OEM setup add a lot of strength.

Just my opinion, worth exactly what it cost.

Yeah I’d agree. I’ve been under my truck and looked closely at the set up and it’s very involved looking.

    • Breaking News!    I'm going to tell you that I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I told  you.  Then I'm going to tell you what I'm about to tell you on the other side of the break.  Then we're going to break. Then I'm not going to tell you what I told you I was going to tell you.  But I'll tell you something else that is Breaking News just coming to the desk that everyone reported on yesterday.  Then I'll tease a human interest telling I'll get to on the other side of a larger break. Then I'll tell you one item in 20 seconds and go back to an even longer break. Longest break of the night.  Then I'll tell you a fluff piece that takes 10 seconds and sign off into a three minute break while you wait for the next 30 minutes of rinse and repeat on the local news.    In al you'll get about 12 minutes of something, 5 minutes of which is worth hearing in a 30 minute show and 18 minutes of advertising at a sound level twice as loud as the news.    Of course you can switch to cable news and hear 12 different people tell the same four stories in much the same format as the Network News for 20 hours of which the majority will be advertising.  And four hours of late night Specials about things you wonder why you stayed up to listen to. Half of which will be repeats.....   OR you can go for a drive
    • Did you ever figure this out? My 2022 Trail Boss, and now my 2026 LT did this from time to time.  I believe it was more connected to Android Auto and my phone being the cause. Maybe try going for a drive, sans cell phone.... and see if it happens?
    • I have a 2026 Silverado LT, the non bose as well.  Upgrading the door speakers is pretty straightforward. You could honestly go to walmart, or Auto Zone/ O Reilly and get a set of 6x9s for the front, and 6.5s for the rear. You do also have to get some adapters for each, but they are like $10 a pair on Amazon. Then some plug and play harnesses that are about $10 a pair on Amazon as well.  And I would also suggest a 10 pack of the Amazon Basics sound deadening. Slap that all around the speakers and on the open metal of the inside of the door. And your golden.   I am currently doing this with my Silverado. Although I am having a bit of trouble because I am snooby I guess and bought some Alpine S2 S69c's which are 2 way components and I am having to wire from the door up to the dash....  Having never installed speakers before, its taking me just a bit to get everything correct. But if you dont buy expensive component speakers, and just some $40-$50 door speakers. You will DRASTICALLY improve the sound over these stock paper cone junk speakers. I thought my Silverado had an issue with the radio/ sound for a while.  Come to find out.  The stock speakers are just THAT SH*TTY   I cannot wait to have some decent sound in the truck   What did you end up doing?
    • Its all automatic based on yaw sensor data.  If enough incline is detected, it engages.   My recommendation though would be to disengage it before driving off and not let it auto disengage by touching the gas pedal.  The HD trucks use the same setup as prior years, the drum in hat park brake.  But now with an electric actuator.  If you drive off repeatedly over time, it can torque the park brake shoes and can also prematurely wear them out.           Electric console shift will set the park brake on flat ground too.  Pretty sure they've got it programmed to activate every time.
