Tapping into BCM

I got these OPT7 "running board lights" that are running light sequential turn and courtesy light along the rocker panel. I was planning on tying them in to the door wiring on the A pillar but I was curious if the BCM could handle the extra minimal load on the cargo light and turn signal circuits (not hooking up running light since I'm not a fan of the look down there). only reason being is the BCM is much more accessible than getting access to the door wiring plugs and I'm lazy
