Hi Everyone, does anyone know of a good resource to find torque specs for our trucks?  I am looking for the following torque specs but haven’t been able to find any consistent info:

- Y pipe to header flange

- Transmission cross member bolts

- Transmission mount bolts

I am replacing the catalytic converter Y Pipe.  Most things I have read said good an tight but anything more specific would be of great help.  Thanks in advance.

Assuming you are 4.3, 5.3 or 6.2:

Y-pipe to manifold nuts - 37 lb ft

Exhaust clamp y-pipe to exhaust - 21 lb ft

Transmission crossmember to frame (4 nuts) - 70 lb ft

Transmission crossmember to transmission (2 nuts) - 41 lb ft

I wrote nuts because the torque spec should be applied to the nut not the bolt unless access prevents you from doing so.  GM writes them as such, spec applied to the nut on something like the crossmember bolts in where there is a bolt going through one end, and a nut on the other.

Something like a head bolt is a bit more obvious the torque is applied to the bolt head.
