The Bridgestone Alenza tires that came on my RST 4x4 have been "just ok", currently I have about 23,000 miles on them and they have 6/32" left on them. Normally I like to use my tires down to the wear bars(I'll run these till December), but I use this truck to tow my snowmobile to snow country and these tires were barely ok when new. Not really a many choices in this 22" and I really don't want a snow tire, just a good all season. Goodyear has a new "Wrangler Steadfast HT" in my size and it has a good UTQG of 800AB but not many reviews on it yet. 

  If you're running 22 inchers on you vehicle, I'd like your input on what you may have bought, I don't go off road, but I do encounter some snowy roads for a few hundred miles a season. Thanks

Michelin Defender LTX is a solid all-season tire in 275/50r22.

I have the same truck only in black and got rid of my  Bridgestone Alenza tires right away, too much of a car tire, so I had the dealer install the trail boss lift and I went with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 285/50/22, I tried 285/55/22 tires but they were very close to touching at full crank I think with a .236 wheel spacer they would be fine, so far the tires have been good they look aggresive but are pretty quiet, I must say they are not the greatest on snow or on wet pavement you can break them loose easy with the 6.2 , but overall I like them and the look.

Thanks, but I'm a highway truck kinda guy, the most off roading I do is driving across the lawn to park my sled trailer in the back yard....lol.

Getting good life out of the tread? Did you notice any difference in MPG?

I just got a set of Michelin Defender LTX AT2's a few months ago and I'm not totally happy with them.  They are the AT version, not the Highway M/S version, so there are obviously some differences between the two.  I came from a set of Goodyear TrailRunners and the Michelins are several pounds heavier and noticeably a stiffer ride.  I think Michelin gets their longer thread life by using a harder rubber compound.  So you have to consider if that's something you're willing to trade.

I went with 305/45R22 Hankook DynaPro AT2 Extreme (RF12). Yes they fit. Some of the best tires I ever owned. Just as quiet and smooth as those Michelin's but look way better and are 3 peak snow flake rated 

 

If you decide to go with the Michelin LTX M/S go with the 305/45R22. They are XL load and will work well with your truck. The LTX in 275/50R22 are not XL load and wear extremely fast and unevenly on these trucks. They are also prone to cupping. I'm speaking from experience.

 

There are some new AT offerings from Toyo and Nitto in 275/50 if you feel you have to use that size.

I bought a set of 18" take-off rims (AT4) and installed 3PMSF tires on them for winter use.

 

Gives lots of choice for seasonal / special purpose use tires.

Not quite as aggressive as the All Terrain TA KO2... 285/45 R22

      I agree, simplicity and reliability matter more as vehicles get more complicated. A V8 work truck option with fewer electronic features and a stronger warranty would definitely appeal to a lot of buyers who use their trucks for real work. Customizing it with trusted outfitters is often the best way to get exactly what you need.webcrimsNY

      I’ve heard similar complaints from newer vehicles where the factory “premium” systems don’t always live up to expectations. A good installer should be able to improve the sound without turning it into a bass-heavy setup. I’d look into upgrading the front speakers, adding a quality DSP amplifier, and possibly improving sound deadening first—those changes usually make a much bigger difference than just adding a subwoofer. Hopefully someone local can recommend a reputable installer in the Las Vegas/St. George area.

      Do you remember that Harley Davidson was more successful (solvent) when it produced about 60% of the market demand (by design) and forced wait times of up to three years? Even when your turn came around it was, "Take what we are giving you or move to the back of the line and start over". HUGE markup's were 'normalized' and dealer killed. 40% markup and no floor plan? What's not to love? Greed will kill them yet. They have surplus production and customer base is tanking. And still they think nosebleed pricing will work.

      The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.

      Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.
