Read an article this morning this track in NJ abruptly closed with a full schedule. I spent many nights there in the seventies. Sad to see it.

Bandimere Speedway (Thunder Mountain) in Colorado is also closing at season end.

Not super familiar with all the drag tracks but it does appear the owners of Bandimere are selling the land but plan to have an all new track open for 2025:  NHRA Drag Racing Done in Denver After 2023 Mile-High Nationals? Don’t Believe It (autoweek.com)

I did see that. I also saw that the land they are selling is going to be used for some other automotive purposes. No idea what that might be, but they felt a need to let the racing public know that wasn't to build condominiums or a parking garage. Think there's lithium/cobalt on that property?
